Polling Research: Strong Support for Litigation Funding from UK Business Leaders and Consumers
In June 2025, ILFA commissioned Stack Data Strategy to conduct polling of UK business leaders and consumer attitudes towards litigation funding.
Stack surveyed 765 UK business leaders and 1,501 UK consumers for the study.
The research reveals overwhelming support for litigation funding, with 68% of business leaders viewing it as positive for the business environment compared to just 7% who see it as negative. Business leaders say savings from litigation funding would be channelled into growth and innovation, whilst 76% of consumers would consider using litigation funding to level the playing field against large corporations.
